At ThumbVid, we strive to provide the best AI thumbnail generation experience. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for our services.

2. Usage-Based Refunds

Refunds are calculated based on your actual usage of the service. When you request a refund, we will review your account usage and determine the refund amount accordingly.

The refund calculation takes into account:

  • The number of credits or thumbnail generations you have consumed;
  • The duration of your subscription period that has elapsed;
  • Any promotional discounts or offers applied to your purchase.

For example, if you have used 30% of your credits, you may be eligible for a refund of up to 70% of your payment, minus any applicable fees.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund consideration, you must:

  • Request a refund within 30 days of your original purchase;
  • Provide a valid reason for your refund request;
  • Not have violated our Terms of Service.

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and approval is at our discretion.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Credits that have already been used to generate thumbnails;
  • Subscription fees for periods where the service was actively used;
  • Purchases made more than 30 days ago;
  • Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations.

5. How to Request a Refund

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3-5 business days.

6. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or credit card company.

7. Subscription Cancellations

Cancelling your subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund. When you cancel your subscription:

  • You will retain access to your plan until the end of your current billing period;
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation;
  • Unused credits at the time of cancellation will expire at the end of your billing period.

If you wish to request a refund in addition to cancelling, please contact us using the information in Section 5.

8. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account termination.

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
